Fabulous fun in St. Day
Thank you to everyone who came to our 'Winter Warmer' on Saturday. It was great to see you all, make, chat, share lunch, learn and dance.
The day got of to a cracking start with Bloomin' Plastic Recycling Workshop. Work has now well and truly begun on creating the illuminated wreath for Carn Marth Lake!
It was the second recycling workshop following on from a lovely day with Craft and Conviviality at Pulla Cross. Next up, a workshop this evening at Carleen Village Hall. We cant wait to see the results.
Please let us know if you have or know of a group that would like a workshop.
Thank you to the amazing soup fairies Karen and Wendy who rustled up a delicious lunch of soup and cake. This was followed by a fascinating talk on Gwennap, emigration and the miners wives who were 'left behind' by Lesley Trotter (Humble History)
Bec Applebee then led us on a merry dance with her Introduction to the Cornish Serpent Dance.
Fun times leading up to our second event Saturday 27th January 2018.
Next 'Winter Warmer will be on 17/2/18 A Walk, Talk and Sketch on Carn Marth. Lunch provided!
