Walk, talk and sketch with super talented artist Sue Hill and Bloomin' Plastic Recycle Day with
We are very excited to announce these 2 exciting events which are happening in the run up to our Signs and Wonders Light Spectacular at Carn Marth on February 24th.
Clare
Sue will meet you at the quarry at 11am for a gentle walking adventure, discussing and exploring the quarry and lake.
After a lunch of soup and sandwiches Sue will begin with some creative activities to get the sketching started.
This incredibly atmospheric place has amazing views across to the coast and a wealth of colour and texture that is guaranteed to inspire both photography and drawing.
Should the weather be unfavourable then Sue will go with you down to Lanner Village Hall for some Carn Marth inspired drawing.
Clare Summerson is on a mission to recycle as many plastic bottles as possible for her light installation.
She is inviting communities to help create a giant illuminated wreath that will be floated on the lake at Carn Marth before being relocated to St. Day Old Church in March.
Its a fun relaxed session where you can discover new ways to transform single use plastic into something unique and beautiful.
We would love it if you would book as we are providing lunch.
